Introducing our theme, "Ambassadors With a Purpose" based on 2 Corinthians 5:20a, "Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us."

Our mission is clear: to educate, equip, and encourage young Christians like you to step into the realm of political action with confidence and purpose. Each one of us has a unique role to play in shaping our society for the better. As believers, we're called to be ambassadors for Christ in a world that desperately needs His love and truth.

Throughout the event, you'll gain valuable insights and practical tools to actively engage in your province and local community. From insightful workshops to and speakers, you'll be equipped to make a real difference wherever you go.

Speakers

Tamara Jansen, Langley-native Tamara Jansen is a passionate community contributor who has fought her entire career for the people of Canada and their rights. Right now, she’s fighting for issues that are relevant not only to Cloverdale—Langley City, but to our entire nation as a whole. 

From speaking up in defence of the elderly and disabled to upholding the rights of the small business community, she has always been focused on advocating for a better future for our city. Throughout her accomplished career, and as a proud business owner herself, she has been singularly focused on fighting for a secure, thriving future for her community.

For over 30 years, Tamara and her husband Byron have worked together to build an agricultural business that provides jobs for hundreds of people and creates employment opportunities for thousands more.

From being brought up by a single mother to raising her own children—and now experiencing the joy of grandchildren—she is aware of the challenges that come with balancing work and family. With her incessant desire for our youth to achieve their dreams and goals, she’s always
mindful that today’s new parents face more challenges than ever.

Pastor Jeremy Segstro was born 30 minutes from the center of Canada, in Winnipeg Manitoba, where he spent his formative years. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Providence University College in Otterburne Manitoba, before travelling East to receive a Master of Divinity from the Canadian Reformed Theological College.

God decided that he should experience all of Canada, from East to West, and he has been pastoring in British Columbia since October 2019, first in Cloverdale, and now in Yarrow. Jeremy is passionate about many things including books, boardgames and baking banana bread (and alliteration), but his ultimate passion is reserved for his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. It is the honour of his life to be able to bring that gospel through his words and his life.
